Systems Administrator

Location: Nessit – Somersworth, NH
Position: Systems Administrator
Engagement: Full Time Position


Nessit, a New Hampshire based technology company, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with great customer service. This position is comprised of working from our Somersworth and Dover offices, and onsite client visits. Nessit primarily serves the Seacoast and surrounding regions. This position will have account maintenance responsibilities for multiple clients and be expected to cultivate a relationship where they are looked upon as the client’s trusted IT adviser. Your expertise will cover desktop, server and network administration, project management, and implementation of IT standards.

Demonstrated Experience in the Following Technology Areas

·         3 years Microsoft Windows Systems Administration

·         Strong skills with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IIS

·         Some Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V)

·         Some knowledge of SAN/NAS technology

·         Knowledge and use of tools to analyze, diagnose, and resolve network issues

·         Workstation diagnostics, workstation deployment, server troubleshooting, and end-user problem resolution

·         Network configuration, deployment, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities and Work Environment

·         Work independently and with a team to support:

·         Desktops (Windows and Mac)

·         Servers

·         Microsoft Office 365

·         Network Security, Performance, and Monitoring * Communicate effectively with team members and clients

·         Prepare and maintain technical documentation

·         Perform as escalation point for other groups in the team

·         Occasional travel for work beyond normal business hours when necessary.

·         Requirement to be available after hours for escalation purposes and projects

·         Ability to be flexible and positively respond to multiple work pressures

·         Analytical problem solver with excellent research and troubleshooting skills

·         Motivated individual able to accomplish challenging goals

·         Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment on a team or independently

·         Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

·         Good organizational, time management, and mentoring skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
